On October 9, the green field at the East Track and Field Ground of Mingxiang Campus of our university was bustling with energy. As chief referee Feng Chunhui announced the conclusion of the event, the nine-day 2025 Shanxi Provincial Youth Campus Football Tournament (Secondary School Division) officially came to a successful close. As the core organizer, the School of Sports and Health Engineering at Taiyuan University of Technology provided professional support and meticulous services, laying a solid foundation for this youth football extravaganza in Shanxi and allowing youthful vitality to shine brightly on the campus field. Zhao Yongxia, Second-Level Inspector of the Physical Education, Health, and Arts Department of the Shanxi Provincial Education Department, Zhang Meizhen, Dean of the School of Sports and Health Engineering at Taiyuan University of Technology, Wang Deke, the competition arbitrator, and over a hundred event arbitrators and supervisors jointly witnessed the closing moment.
As a key event in the field of youth campus football in Shanxi Province, this tournament was jointly organized by the Provincial Education Department and the Provincial Sports Bureau. It kicked off simultaneously on October 1 across four main venues: Taiyuan University of Technology, Taiyuan Normal University, Jinzhong University, and Shanxi Vocational University of Engineering Science and Technology. Among these, the Taiyuan University of Technology venue was fully coordinated and operated by the School of Sports and Health Engineering. Leveraging the school’s extensive experience in sports event organization, venue management, and professional services, it provided high-quality support for the tournament.
A total of 60 top campus football teams from across the province gathered on the field, competing in four categories: junior high school boys’ and girls’ groups, and senior high school boys’ and girls’ groups. On the green field, the athletes engaged in multiple rounds of competition, interpreting the passion and excitement of football through running and sweat. On the field, the players showcased tactical acumen during transitions between offense and defense, and conveyed the spirit of sportsmanship through fierce contests—every precise pass reflected team spirit , and every powerful shot carried youthful dreams. The school’s professional venue facilities and real-time support allowed the players to focus entirely on demonstrating their competitive skills, fully showcasing the vibrant and courageous spirit of Shanxi’s youth.
